If you’re like me, you might want to have a website on the Internet, but simply do not know how to proceed. All this talk of web hosting, bandwidth, disk space, and jargon can cause one to say: “This is too complicated and technical, I just want to have a place to put all of my favorite skateboarding photos, cool information on road design, and the best place to skate!”For a site on the web has to go through a web host. The question is: how do you find a web host for you?
If ‘web host’ type in your search engine like Google you will get thousands of sites. Hit on one of these products on the market and how you see all kinds of persuasive propaganda to encourage the use of their company, that is, if you can describe one of the technical jargons that only computer-heads can understand. Some web hosts offer free business cards with the bill; some probably offer free watches … like all consumer sectors that the buyer should be careful.
I am a writer so I’ll use the analogy of the writer magazine. I loved the newspaper should not be too large or small book. You must also have a good amount of space per day, not a whole page again, but only a few lines. Of course I also want to be cheap, but good quality that do not fall apart while I use it, and I hope it will last for posterity. I just want the diary, some nice pictures in it are OK, but unnecessary, especially if you add the price.
You want to get the right deal for you, enough space and enough access for the public who wish to associate. As a beginner who does not understand all the jargon this can pose a problem. Whether you are a business, small individuals, blogs, or a time of great company? What you need and how do you get?
As far as I know many web hosting companies as a fast-food business. Large companies have strict guidelines, will offer special deals, and have monthly ‘cheeseburger specials’. But, I’ve always been more interested in ‘Mom and Pop’ small time visitors who approach the real man’s care. You know that you are a customer and the people, not just the numbers on sales receipts. I believe that the same hosting company.
A smaller hosting company will probably treat its users with more honest integrity as well as having greater flexibility in dealing with your personal situation. They can often tailor web site packages to accommodate what you are looking for and the ability to update quickly when your needs change.
My advice is to contact several small businesses. Look for people with good reputations or just arbitrarily email them and compare results from different places. What do you feel most comfortable? Go for it, ask as many questions as possible, to see how the hosts differ in their responses. Try one, if it does not work try another, it is very easy to move. Do not be afraid, you have nothing to lose but fear it!
